If you don't know me I'm a SAHM to the most gorgeous munchkins in my world and I love them with every fibre of my being, however it doesn't stop me from sometimes wanting them to go play in the traffic (at peak hour). That being said, we live in a very friendly small country town and the munchkins would probably be bought home by a kind friend wanting to know if everything was ok.
I love to do all different sorts of Craft and Art projects.
I started with ceramics many years ago which moved on to folk painting, from there I dabbled in beaded jewelry making and basic card making. I've always been an avid sewer and often crochet at football or netball games - skills I was taught by my Mum as a little girl, I've recently taught my 17yr old son to crochet which I think is pretty cool! I was introduced to Creative Memories scrapbooking when it was new and never thought I'd get 'into' it, however one day I met a lady who did Scrapbooking of a different kind and I was Hooked.
Scrapbooking has opened my eyes to the exciting world of colours, textures, layers and mediums and all of these have transcended into my every day life. My scrapping style is neat (I'm just too OCD to do messy!) and structured and I love to layer flowers with fibres and charms or chipboard.
This layout is of B1 as a baby, the dots are all hand done from a flourish I downloaded from somewhere on the net!
This is a layout of my MIL who passed away in March of last year, under the photo is the service booklet from the funeral.
